Next week I'm heading to Denver Colorado for Bordo Bello 2011, a skate deck exhibition & auction to benefit the Denver arts community. My contribution to the show, titled "Always Be Prepared" (as seen in this post title), is based on the Scouting motto and my unadulterated love of sign painting.
The project was fun, and a great opportunity to make something between client projects. Before beginning, I made a rule that I had to use things laying around the studio to complete the design so it fit the "preparedness" concept. Including the blank deck that I've had for a while, I made use of spray paint, vinyl sheets for lettering, and a couple of troop numbers.
